WHAT I DO

I help busy adults and retired clients build towards strength, health and performance. My focus is on you as an individual - I meet you where you're at and consider your past fitness, goals, and limitations to help you build lasting strength and long-term results.

 

I make training easier by meeting you in your home and delivering expert personal training & coaching. If you want a gym environment instead, I rent a private space you us to train out of.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m John - an Ancaster personal trainer, former pro volleyball athlete, and dad who loves helping people get strong. Training transformed my life, taking me from a skinny kid to competing as a professional volleyball athlete in Germany and representing Canada on the national stage..


Now I use that experience to help adults rebuild strength, confidence, and trust in their body.

With 6+ years of education (Bkin, CSCS, Senior Finess Specialist) and hands-on coaching, I guide clients who want to move better, feel confident, and build strength that lasts.

In-Home Personal Training

In-Home Personal Training means I bring the gym directly to you — adjustable dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, and more.


It’s perfect for busy adults who don’t want to commute and for anyone who feels more comfortable training at home, while still getting high-quality, professional coaching.

Gym Based Personal Training

Gym-Based Training means you meet me at a private Hamilton studio I rent.


It’s great for anyone who prefers a gym setting, wants access to more equipment, or enjoys getting out of the house to train - without the crowds or pressure of a commercial gym.

Online Programming & Coaching

Online Programming gives you a clear, structured plan to follow on your own through my coaching app.
It’s ideal for adding extra workouts between our in-person sessions or for anyone who wants guidance without meeting in person — simple, flexible, and fully customized to your goals.
